Sessão de maternidade no Cabo da Roca

“Estou grávida e estava em pulgas para te contar mas tinha que esperar os 3 meses de segurança!!” foram as primeiras palavras trémulas com entusiasmo que ouvi da Laura, há cerca de 7 meses atrás, pelo telefone. Quando a fotografámos juntamente com o David em 2012 não imaginámos que iríamos, três anos mais tarde, fotografá-los a par com uma barriga tão bonita e feliz. Há algo de muito especial em partilharmos a felicidade das outras pessoas, mas há algo quase renovador e refrescante em ver uma das nossas pessoas favoritas radiantes, quase sem caber em si de tanta alegria. A paisagem do Cabo da Roca aqui foi um extra maravilhoso (onde estivemos pela primeira vez e ficámos fãs!) e o Guincho, ao contrário do que é habitual, estava sem vento. Mais do que uma tarde bem passada foi uma oportunidade para registar momentos únicos e felizes, que nos fazem sorrir apenas de reviver.

Cabo da Roca Maternity Session, Lisbon

“I’m pregnant and I was anxious to tell you but I had to wait the 3 month safety period!!” were the first exciting words I heard from Laura, about 7 months ago, on the phone. In 2012,  when we shot Laura and David, we could barely imagine we’d photograph them again, this time with a beautiful and happy belly. There is something very special in sharing other people’s happiness, but there’s something refreshing and renewing in seeing one of our favorite persons totally radiant, bursting with happiness. Cabo da Roca was just a magnificent bonus (our first time there and we loved it!) and Guincho, quite unusually, windless. More than a great afternoon spent with friends, it was an opportunity to capture truly unique and happy moments, that make us smile just from remembering them.
