Monte Rei Wedding

It has been quite a while since we shot a wedding at Monte Rei. The last time we were there, we shot Laura and Paul‘s outdoor ceremony at the Tavira Castle, followed by the reception at Monte Rei Golf and Country Club. We were not only very impressed, but loved the relaxed feel of the venue.
We were thrilled with Poppy and Chris’s enquiry because we’ve been wanting to come back and shoot a wedding there since 2013.
Shooting destination weddings, wherever they may be, is always incredible. The number of friends and family who are willing to travel to another country to celebrate the love of two people is, by itself, a deep sign of friendship. The connection and sense of enjoyment is always amazing to see and, no matter where the wedding takes place, people just want to see the bride & groom happy. A sentimental ceremony followed by an outdoor party where everyone had a wonderful time – including us.

Casamento no Monte Rei, Algarve

Há já algum tempo que não fotografávamos um casamento no Monte Rei. A última vez que lá estivemos foi para o casamento ao ar livre no Castelo de Tavira da Laura e do Paul, seguido da recepção aos convidados no Monte Rei Golf and Country Club . Para além de termos ficado muito bem impressionados, adorámos o ambiente relaxado do próprio espaço.
Quando a Poppy e o Chris nos contactaram, ficámos entusiasmados com o pedido deles até porque, na realidade, já queríamos voltar a fotografar lá desde 2013.
Fotografar casamentos de casais estrangeiros é sempre incrível, onde quer que o casamento seja. O número de amigos e família disponíveis para viajar para outro país apenas para celebrar o amor de duas pessoas é, por si, um acto profundo de amizade. A ligação e a felicidade no rosto dos convidados é sempre maravilhoso de se ver até porque sabemos que, independentemente do local do casamento, eles só querem ver o casal feliz. Uma cerimónia sentimental seguida de uma festa ao ar livre onde toda a gente se divertiu à brava – nós incluídos.
