Casa Rupi wedding – Laura & Pax

It feels like a million years since Marina and I drove a half day down to Algarve to shoot Laura and Pax’s wedding at Casa Rupi. It wasn’t our first time there, but we couldn’t wait to arrive and finally see Laura and Pax in person after months of Skype and emails.

This place is an incredible villa in the middle of nowhere that you can rent for your celebration in Algarve and Sally, the manager, will help you with every little detail. If you’re planning your wedding down south, Casa Rupi should definitely be on your wedding venue list.

Laura and Pax flew out for their wedding and brought their closest friends and family to celebrate an amazing day. The friendship between Pax and his groomsmen and the handwritten thank you notes Laura wrote to every single guest were incredible! And the sunset. OMG.

Highlights of the day:
All groomsmen ended up in the pool during the speeches.
Pax cut the cake in shorts, Adidas socks and slippers.
The dancefloor!

We cannot believe it’s nearly 2 years since that wonderful day, but how things have changed this year for many couples who had hoped to marry this year.
