Evelyn & Rex – Destination wedding in Portugal

Wow! Where to start? Evelyn and Rex’s destination wedding in Santa Maria do Bouro was one of our favourites this year and we can’t help but have warm and fuzzy feelings every time we see their wedding photos. It’s sounds dorky, but it’s totally true!

A couple of days before the wedding, we were talking to them and Rex told us “If there is anything that you’ve always wanted to do or try and never had the chance, don’t hesitate to try it with us”. This is exactly what we like to hear and it’s wonderful to know that couples trust us completely and let us do what we love and how we love it.

We feel truly blessed to be part of their story and their wedding day. Rex’s dad officiated the ceremony and it couldn’t be more meaningful: they wrote their own vows and read them to their family, promising everyone that they’d look after each other and love each other forever. It was all so truly heartfelt. And we can’t even begin to describe how gorgeous Evelyn looked (and is!).

Evelyn e Rex – Casamento em Amares, Portugal

Uau. Por onde começar? O casamento da Evelyn e do Rex em Santa Maria do Bouro foi um dos nossos favoritos deste ano e não conseguimos evitar alguns arrepios sempre que revemos as fotografias do casamento. Soa um bocadinho foleiro, mas é totalmente verdade!

Alguns dias antes do casamento, estávamos a falar com eles e o Rex disse-nos “Se há alguma coisa que vocês sempre quiseram experimentar mas nunca tiveram oportunidade de o fazer, usem-nos como cobaias”. Isto é precisamente o que nós gostamos de ouvir – e é maravilhoso saber que os casais confiam em nós completamente e deixam-nos fazer o que gostamos e como gostamos.

Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente abençoados por poder fazer parte do dia de casamento e da história deles. O pai do Rex celebrou a cerimónia e eles escreveram os seus votos e disseram-nos para toda a família, prometendo cuidarem um do outro e amarem-se para sempre. Foi extremamente e verdadeiramente sentido. E nós nem temos palavras para descrever o quão bonita e elegante estava (e é!) a Evelyn!
