Pousada de Amares wedding – Wel & Ross

In the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, when Walter finally finds Sean O’Connell in the Himalayas photographing the snow leopard, O’Connell says: “beautiful things don’t ask for attention”. That’s precisely how we feel about Pousada de Amares and all the weddings we shoot here. It’s a beautiful and incredibly versatile venue, yet so understated. This place has found its way into our hearts and so have all the couples who have chosen this amazing hotel to get married at.

Wel and Ross were no different. They are the kindest and most loving people and they welcomed us into their lives by choosing us to document their amazing day. They came all the way from Brooklyn to get married at Pousada de Amares and we can’t help but well up every time we think about their day and all the love we felt. We laughed, we danced and we cried with them and with every word said at the ceremony – it was an intense and honest wedding, made even better by the presence of their dear friends and family members from all four corners of the world.
