Maternity session in Aveiro – Rute & Hugo

Having clients from all over of the country travelling to my backyard for a maternity session in Aveiro is a dream come true. For many years I traveled around the globe to photograph clients and as much as I loved every single one of those trips, there is something special about shooting in my favourite places. The forests I walk by every day, the light I know so well, the places I call home that make me feel calm and appreciate the small things – like a bike ride early in the morning while everyone is still asleep.

Rute, Hugo and I have crossed paths a long time ago when she started her heartfelt business in the event planning industry. We got to know each other, collaborated on multiple occasions and supported each other on this journey. Through the years I’ve seen their relationship flourish and when Rute told me she was pregnant I couldn’t help but thinking what amazing parents these two incredible humans will be.
What a joy it is to see a child being born to such a beautiful family and it’s such an honour to document this time in their lives.
